Lambert Sustainability is an innovative sustainable design consulting and research firm based in the Boston area. We provide full process facilitation and project management services for projects pursuing a range of sustainability goals, green building metrics and rating systems. The firm works in a highly collaborative process with the client, community, design, and construction teams to define and meet the project’s vision and goals for sustainability.
Michelle Lambert is the Founding Principal of Lambert Sustainability. For the last 22 years, she has built an expertise in sustainable design in both practice and teaching. With an education and experience in architecture and planning, she led the sustainability efforts at several of Boston’s largest architecture and design firms prior to starting her own firm. Michelle has worked on over 45 LEED and sustainable design projects varying widely in building type, rating system and certification level. She is also a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) and an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
As both a professional and academic educator, a former US Green Building Council Faculty Member, and a current Envision trainer, she brings a unique ability to communicate the concepts and strategies contained within LEED and other rating systems in order to provide ongoing education to her project teams, ensuring a more integrated and efficient process.
Lambert Sustainability is a Certified Massachusetts Woman Owned Business (WBE).
