BuildingEnergy NYC 2019

Thanks to all who joined us for BuildingEnergy NYC 2019! View other upcoming NESEA events here.

Now in its seventh year, BuildingEnergy NYC is a conference designed by and for practitioners in the fields of high-performance building and design, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. This year's event brought more than 400 professionals from across the industry together to learn from and network with one another.

Every year, sessions are chosen by a committee of NESEA Members and highlight best practices and lessons learned. This year’s theme of “Electrification” means that content focused on how electrification will affect design, construction, related policies, technology, operations, user engagement, and community equity, as well as on solutions for when electrification is not possible.

The 2019 event took place on Thursday, September 26 at the Convene Old Slip Conference Center (Financial District).

Who Attends

As Conference Co-chair Laura Humphrey puts it, BuildingEnergy NYC attendees are the “influencers” of the industry. They are the leaders in innovation, design, and policy, unafraid to question the status quo, and committed to transforming our built environment. They represent a wide array of professional specialties including architecture, engineering, development, construction, energy, policy, finance, manufacturing, and education.
