Levon Whyte is currently a Project Manager AECOM Energy. He has eight plus years of energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability experience working extensively with utility and state agencies across New York and New England. His project management portfolio includes renewables, energy efficiency, evaluation and mechanical energy projects.
Prior to AECOM he served as Managing Engineer at Energy and Resource Solutions (now DNV) where he managed and coordinated numerous energy efficiency (EE) program evaluation efforts for NYSEG and RG&E (Avangrid NY), NYSERDA and National Grid New York. His responsibilities also included business development, strategic planning, proposal writing, technical review and designing measurement and verification (M&V) activities for EE program evaluation.
He has a Master of Science Degree in Technical Entrepreneurship and Management from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Jamaica. He is also a Certified Energy Manager and a Project Management Professional.
Outside of work, you can find Levon either spending time with his family, playing soccer, making music on his guitar or capturing memories for others as a photographer. He also loves the great outdoors and enjoys mountain biking, hiking and kayaking.
