NESEA is pleased to be partnering with AORTA, the the Anti-Oppression Resource & Training Alliance, to offer participants in our Bottom Lines business development program a series of workshops designed to provide tools business owners and managers need to become inclusive, anti-racist organizations.

We plan to offer similiar workshops to the general NESEA community in April. Participation in the February workshops is limited to current members of the Bottom Lines program.  Please contact Florence MacGregor, fmacgregor@nesea.org, with any questions or to express interest in the later trainings.

Workshop Description

During this virtual workshop, AORTA staff will ground participants with easy-to-use tools to better understand what white supremacy culture is, share specific examples and the most common ways we see it arise in our organizations, and explore strategies, visions, and policies for how we can disrupt it. Participants will learn and deepen their analysis in practical ways, and leave with tools, stories, and visions for bringing liberation and racial justice into the center of their work.
