Shannon Pendleton, CPHC and sole proprietor of Sanderson Sustainable Design, began her practice in 2003 to pair sustainable building practices with place, community advocacy, and historical context. She is interested in multi-generational, non-toxic, affordable, low carbon building solutions. She specializes in team building, Passive House, reconstruction, and prefabrication. A founder of the Greater Philadelphia Passive House Association, and Councilmember for the Passive House Community at Green Building United, she received her 5 Year Bachelors of Architecture from Temple University, Sustainable Practices certificate from Jefferson University, is an AIA Associate, and an elective instructor for the Bryn Athyn Church School. She is currently the designer and Passive House Consultant for the Silvergreen Project, and a consultant to design firms in PA, NJ, and NY.
