Will Lauwers is Director of Emerging Technologies for the MA Department of Energy Resources. The Emerging Technologies Division is primarily responsible for the Energy Storage Initiative, the Community Clean Energy Resiliency Initiative, and alternative transportation technologies initiatives. Will’s past experience includes federal, military, and commercial contract program management with a concentration on research, development, and demonstrations of advanced power technologies. He co-founded the Energy Experience Center at the University of Dayton Research Institute, a testbed and demonstration site for emerging energy technologies to be operated and improved in conjunction with best-in-class components and equipment.

Will holds an M.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Dayton and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
