Different Systems of Multifamily Passive House from Design to Operation

As the first cohort of Passive House buildings are completed and occupied, we continue to learn how to optimize design and construction for maintenance considerations and the actual end uses of the buildings.

The members of this multidisciplinary panel have worked together (and separately) on multiple large Passive House projects, some of which are now occupied. They will explore the critical design and operational issues associated with multifamily Passive House buildings. They will focus on building systems as well as other considerations, such as floor to floor height, renewables and distributed generation, and operations and maintenance in all-electric buildings.

Come and learn about the practical issues that owners and managers of affordable multifamily Passive House buildings have to deal with once construction is complete and the residents have moved in.
