Bowdoin College Campus Decarbonization Project Manager

The Campus Decarbonization Project Manager will serve as point of contact for stakeholders on campus and representative for the College when working with designers, consultants, vendors, contractors, and local and state officials. Additionally, this position will be responsible for monitoring the performance of contractors and consultants, negotiating change orders, monitoring project schedules, and managing construction administration and the project close-out process.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or an equivalent combination of related education and field experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, search for creative solutions, and prioritize effectively
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse constituencies and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing project budgets, design professionals, contractors, and vendors
• Computer proficiency is required with the ability to work in multiple software environments including AutoCAD and Revit.

Preferred:
• Experience in construction management or construction supervision on a college campus
• Experience with sustainable design and energy/utility infrastructure projects
• Experience with project management software
• Licensed mechanical engineer (PE)
• LEED accredited professional (LEED AP BD&C or O&M)
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
