Brian joined NEEP in February 2014 and held a position as High Performance Buildings Associate before transitioning to Policy Research and Analysis. In his current role, he focuses on expanding and maintaining policies to promote energy efficiency as a first order resource in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. This includes research, tracking, and analysis of legislation and regulatory proceedings, providing both comment and education to the relevant actors throughout the region.
In addition to several years of experience in trades, Brian spent time working with the Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG) and the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC) before joining NEEP. He holds a Juris Doctor, Master of Environmental Law & Policy, and Energy Law Certificate from Vermont Law School, and has passed the New York and Massachusetts bar exams. He is a registered attorney with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.
