Keith Schafer

Mr. Keith Schafer has been involved in the LED and Energy Industry since 2011. Mr. Schafer began his work in the legal aspect of the energy field, representing British Petroleum during their massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Since then, Mr. Schafer has fully embraced the desire to show the commercial market the benefits of green technologies. In 2013, Mr. Schafer began working with Revolution Lighting Technologies, a NASDAQ listed LED manufacturer, to help formulate a strategy to show commercial and industrial customers the financial and environmental benefits of converting to LEDs.

Due to his overwhelming success, Mr. Schafer began working for the largest Revolution Distributor in the United States, helping achieve sales in excess of 10M annually. Since then, Mr. Schafer has began his own lighting distribution company, Empire LED Solutions, based out of Hicksville, New York introducing countless owners of commercial and industrial properties to the cost savings associated with higher efficient lighting.

Since Empire’s inception, Mr. Schafer and his dedicated team have converted over 300 commercial and industrial properties to LEDs saving his customers over $4M on electric annually. Mr. Schafer has grown the company exponentially annually by focusing his efforts on small to mid-sized organizations highlighting the real dollar value of these lighting upgrades.

Mr. Schafer received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in German from Miami University. He has also received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and has been licensed to practice law in NYS since 2007.
