Lead Carpenter
MIGHTY ROOTS, a design-build-cabinetry company with a focus on energy efficiency and eco-friendly practices, is looking for an experienced, well-rounded lead carpenter to expand our crew. Our search is for a talented member that will keep up with best practices in both carpentry and building science. This is NOT a novice position; a demonstrated mastery of a variety of carpentry skills is required.
Challenging, interesting work runs from large additions to new home construction. Our work spans the seacoast, NH area.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Skillful carpentry tasks
- Supervision of up to 3 carpenters and subcontractors on site
- Efficient execution of all stages of a project with support of the Project Manager
- Perform material takeoffs from site conditions and blueprints
- Manage client expectations through excellent communication
Must have:
- 10 years experience
- Good customer service skills
- Your own tools
- Reliable work vehicle
- Ability to work in Seacoast NH and southern Maine, we do not build in Massachusetts
