Energy Rating Specialist

CLEAResult is currently seeking an Energy Rating Specialist to join our Building Performance Consulting Team serving Massachusetts and the New England region.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated and goal-oriented and will perform energy modeling and field inspections through various stages of the construction process to support the delivery of CLEAResult’s portfolio of New Construction and Consulting services including: HERS Ratings, Code Testing, Energy Star Homes and LEED for Homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing construction blueprints and plans
• Generating energy modeling using REM/Rate software
• Performing field inspections and diagnostic testing including the use of blower door and duct blaster equipment, and combustion safety equipment
• Providing technical trainings to subcontractors in support of energy efficiency and green specifications
• Providing verification services for green certifications
• Initiating outreach to ensure program enrollment goals are met
