Lucia Santacruz is a Project Associate at UHAB, a New York City based organization whose mission is to support affordable housing co-ops and build community through cooperation. Her responsibility is to promote, encourage and oversee energy efficiency projects in cooperatively managed low income properties. Lucia graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in New York with a B.A. in Human Rights and Sociology. She has worked with different non-profit organizations in New York and Mexico, and is part of the leadership team of ContraCOVID NYC. Her interest in environmental and social justice, strengthens her skills in bringing energy efficiency and renewable technologies to affordable housing.
