BuildingEnergy NYC 2022 Health & Safety

We're so excited to see you at BuildingEnergy NYC 2022! Your health and safety are our top priorities, and we will be updating our guidelines as the event approaches, in accordance with public health recommendations and NESEA’s In-person Gathering Policy, and in collaboration with other event organizers and venue partners.

All participants at BuildingEnergy NYC will need to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 upon arrival. Participants may also be asked to wear an approved face covering, except when eating, drinking, or delivering a presentation (a final decision on masking will be made closer to the event).

Health & Safety Acknowledgement

Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including BuildingEnergy NYC. Prior to purchasing a ticket, we encourage you to read the latest CDC Guidelines for Prevention. By attending BuildingEnergy NYC, you acknowledge this inherent risk, and agree to:

  • Abide by all NESEA health & safety guidelines
  • Follow state, local, and facility guidelines, including those pertaining to air and ground transportation
  • Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19
  • Leave the event if you begin experiencing symptoms

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for conference passes. However, if you need to cancel your attendance for reasons related to COVID-19, you may request a credit for a future NESEA event. If you have any questions or concerns, please email registration@nesea.org.

Change is Constant

As has been the case for the past 2 years, the situation is changing constantly and guidelines are fluid. Please be patient with event organizers, facility partners, and your fellow event participants, and please operate with kindness and understanding. NESEA will continue to evaluate what is best for event participants to ensure we meet safely and that every attendee and member of the staff and service communities are comfortable.
