Becoming a Sponsor

Becoming a sponsor of the Tour de Sol is a good investment, rewarding, and fun! Many of our sponsors participate actively in the event by exhibiting, participating in a competitive event, joining us for daily meetings, a meal, or speaking at starting ceremonies and media events, and hanging out awards.

Audience:

Thousands of people come to the Tour de Sol each year.
General Public: 67% of consumers who attend events are "likely or somewhat likely" to buy products displayed at an event that supports a cause in which they believe.
Government Officials: Officials considering green vehicle incentives, shopping for green vehicles for fleet or personal use.
Educators and Students: Future customers and potential employees.
Clean Cities Stakeholders and Fleet Managers: People shopping for green vehicles.

The media is drawn to the Tour de Sol by advanced technologies and by dignitaties, such as New York Governor George Pataki, pictured above.

The Press:

The opportunity to speak to press people is enormous. The Tour de Sol is the second most widely publicized environmental event in the country - second only to Earth Day.
Each year over 30 million people learn about advanced transportation technologies and options through TV, radio, and print media coverage about the Tour de Sol.
Available upon request: 100 page publicity report, video of selected TV news coverage
