How To Enter the Tour de Sol Championship

The event will take place on May 13-16, 2005 in Saratoga and Albany NY.

The Tour de Sol competition recognizes advanced vehicles that reduce oil use and greenhouse gas emissions that have good performance and practicality. The competition is open to student and independent teams, as well as vehicle manufacturers. Awards are presented to Production and one-of-a-kind cars, trucks, and buses. In 2004, a new competition was created for "around town" vehicles such as electric bikes, scooters, and neighborhood vehicles.

Please download the 2004/05 Rules & Resources: by clicking the side bar to download them. Please click here for useful resources for student and independent teams including information on how to build a safe car, and tips from past teams on preparing for the rally, raising money, getting into the news, and reaching out to your representatives.
