How You Can Get Involved Registration is a two-part process a) pay on-line b) fill in this form Follow these links for the Rules (coming soon!), Resources for student teams, and preview of registration fees The Around Town Vehicle Competition was created in 2004 by RunAbout Cycles to showcase new and fun ways of getting around that are very energy efficient and environmentally-friendly. In 2005 the event expanded to include electric bikes, neighborhood vehicles (NEVs) and electric vehicles built for non-road or track events. Students, hobbiests, entrepreneurs, and electric bike and NEV manufacturers are encouraged to enter. David Hammond and Paul O'Brien are heading the event this year with expanded guidance for high school teachers and students. Following is a draft schedule of events:
