SAE/NESEA CONFERENCE ON HEAVY-DUTY HYBRID-ELECTRIC VEHICLES
MAY 11-12, NEW YORK CITY
This two-day conference offers an opportunity for transit authorities and other users of heavy-duty hybrid vehicles to share their experience operating heavy-duty hybrid-electric buses and to encourage others to put these clean vehicles into revenue service. Those involved with medium and heavy-duty trucks, ground transportation for airports, and vehicles operated by the department of defense will also share their experiences with hybrid technologies and discuss emissions testing and certification processes.
The Northeast Advanced Vehicle Association (NAVC) is title sponsor of the conference, which is organized by NESEA and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). The Federal Transit Administration, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and the New York Power Authority are supporting sponsors of the event. Conference attendees will have an opportunity to visit the NESEA Tour on Friday, May 12.
