Developing the World's Biggest Passive House at Cornell Tech

Cornell University is developing a satellite campus in New York City called Cornell Tech, whose academic curriculum will focus on the disciplines of science including engineering and new technology. So it’s fitting that the campus will house what is currently slated to be the tallest and biggest passive house in the world, a multifamily tower that will serve as student and faculty housing in 2017. Come hear from members of the design and development team behind the 27-story, 350 unit project, which broke ground in June 2015, to learn how they were able to design to the passive house standard on such a large scale, and how they plan to build it. Will include detailed information on costs and specific system upgrades.
