About SASEA
SASEA, the Springfield-Area Sustainable Energy Association, began meeting informally in January of 2007 with the intention to form a NESEA chapter which would serve, most directly, the Greater Springfield population in the pursuit of education on conservation, renewable energy, green building practices, and more sustainable lifestyle choices. Founding chapter member Mike Kocsmiersky was instrumental in securing the bi-monthly meeting space which has been generously donated by Springfield Technical Community College and continues to negotiate many of the speakers who deliver their invigorating and pertinent presentations as part of SASEA's meetings.
SASEA has since pursued its 501(c)3 and continues to grow its membership base around the Pioneer Valley and Western Massachusetts.
