Music & Special Events at the Greenfield Energy Park 2008

Check back weekly for events May through September 2008!

Greenfield Energy Park attracts audiences at nearly 40 outdoor events from May through September. This venue has fast become the social center for outdoor entertainment in downtown Greenfield, serving the larger Franklin County area. Blues, folk, fiddlers, rock, bluegrass, reggae, jazz, country musicians and more that fill the air with music, theater and fun. Clean energy exhibits at NESEA will teach you about what YOU can do to save energy, live music, overflowing gardens....all in the heart of downtown. For all performances, bring a chair or blanket. Who could ask for anything more?

All events are organized by NESEA in conjunction with the Town of Greenfield as part of the Greenfield Recreation Department. Our goal is to welcome visitors into our community to a safe and beautiful educational greenspace as a key element of the Downtown Rivitalization Master Plan. Sponsors for "Sundays in the Park series:"Greenfield Savings Bank, Greenfield Cooperative Bank, GBI Realty and Paul Hake Productions.

50 Miles Street, Greenfield, MA, 01301

Parking for events, often the small parking lot at the Energy Park is full, but many lots are available close by (Main Street, courthouse lot, Olive Street, behind Wilson's, Greenfield's Market and other lots behind stores).

From the South: Take 91 North to Exit 26. Take your 1st right off the exit rotary onto Route 2A eastbound (there,s a Mobil station on the right, Applebees restaurant on the left). This becomes Main Street. Go through two sets of traffic lights, approximately one mile, and turn right onto Miles Street.

Miles street is after a Sunoco gas station on your right. If you come to another set of traffic lights at the intersection of Federal and Main Streets, you have missed Miles Street and need to turn around. Miles street is a dead-end street that ends with a parking lot and the entrance to the Greenfield Energy Park. 50 Miles street is the last building on your right at the end of the street.

From Mass Pike (I-90): Take 91 North (Springfield exit) and follow directions above.

From the North: Take 91 South to Exit 26. Take your 3rd right off the exit rotary onto Route 2A west. This becomes Main Street. Follow directions above.

From Route 2 east: 2 miles west of French King Bridge take route 2A into Greenfield.  Follow 2A all the way into town, following a sharp right to the intersection of Federal and Main streets. Go straight through the traffic lights at and take your next left onto Miles Street.

From Route 2 west: At the intersection of Route 2 and Route 91 go & drive half way around the rotary and continue east on Route 2A/Mohawk Trail eastbound (there is a Mobil station on the right, Applebees restaurant on the left). This becomes Main Street. Follow directions above.
