Business description: Manufacturer of solar hot air panels and energy efficient systems.

How do you define sustainability?
An energy system that is efficient, reliable and maintenance free.

What project are you most proud of?
Building a large energy efficient food dehydrator for a community of farmers in Uganda who grow and dry organic pineapple.

What energy advice do you have for the new President?
Invest in energy efficiency. Compact fluorescents pay for themselves in months. Air conditioners rated 19.5 SEER pay for themselves in a few years compared to units rated at 10 SEER. This just scratches the surface.

What promising technology would you like to know more about?
A fusion power plant.

What's the public's biggest misunderstanding regarding sustainable energy systems?
There is too much attention on expensive solar systems. Solar hot water systems and solar hot air systems pay for themselves in half the time as PV systems.

What prompted you to join NESEA?
It's a good organization to promote renewable energy.
