How do you define sustainability?
The ability to manage an entity (house, office building etc.) comfortably, through the use of our natural elements, while leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible.
What project are you most proud of?
Our newest home project which features a Geothermal heating and cooling system rated to be 98 percent effective, and the installation of the very energy efficient Lutron lighting system
What energy advice do you have for the President Obama?
Please take into consideration the many energy efficient elements that our country can supply easily and readily. We haven't really tapped our windmill energy force, or our hydro energy force. DO NOT let big business blind you to seeing all alternatives. These big businesses were not always in the position they are now, and someday will be exchanged for other big businesses. We do have the power to control which businesses deserve that title. And, what will we tell our Great Grand children when it has been exposed that the radioactive waste from Nuclear Power plants has been and will continue to destroy our planet.
What promising technology would you like to know more about?
Fuel cells.
What's the public's biggest misunderstanding regarding sustainable energy systems?
That they are all too costly and cannot be attained by "regular people"
What prompted you to join NESEA?
To keep learning and keep up to date with all of the great new ideas, as well as with the new uses for the ideas that have been around for a while.
