NESEA Values Chapter and Affiliate Relationships
What is a NESEA Chapter?
NESEA chapters are independent organizations affiliated under NESEA's umbrella. Our vibrant chapters stretch throughout our 10-state territory and focus on a variety of sustainable energy areas ranging from energy efficient buildings and renewable energy to policy advocacy and sustainable transportation.
Chapters offer NESEA's professional members and energy advocates the opportunity to participate on a local level. Each chapter has a unique focus. We invite you to contact a chapter near you to learn more.
Chapter membership is included when you join NESEA. Join Today!

Missing your Chapter?
The chapter you have traditionally supported may not be part of the list above. NESEA has been making some changes to its chapter structure so that the work of our chapters more closely aligns with our mission: to advance the adoption of sustainable energy practices in the built environment. In conjunction with this process, a number of our previous chapters have opted to become affiliates of NESEA rather than to remain chapters. We look forward to continuing to build our relationships with affiliates and to support their good work.
We encourage you to support NESEA affiliates. Did you know that many offer their own membership opportunities? Although NESEA no longer administers their membership for them you can join them independently. Visit their websites for more information. See the list of NESEA affiliates below.
What is a NESEA Affiliate?
The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) welcomes relationships with new affiliates within our territory whose missions are complementary to NESEA's mission, which is to advance the adoption of sustainable energy practices in the built environment. We will promptly consider requests from independent organizations interested in becoming affiliates of NESEA. Contact us at nesea@nesea.org.
