Connecticut Fund for the Environment The CFE is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 working to protect environmental quality across the state of Connecticut. CFE strives to better air and water quality, control toxic contamination, minimize the impact of highways and traffic congestion, protect public water supplies, and preserve open space and wetlands.

It acts as an information clearinghouse for market, regulatory, technical, and financial information important to the business community. Northeast Advanced Vehicle Consortium The NAVC is an association of private and public sector firms and agencies working together to promote advanced vehicle technologies in the Northeast. It is the regionšs principal multi-state, non-profit funding mechanism for advanced transportation research, technology development, and demonstration.
Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management An interstate association of air quality control divisions in 8 Northeast states, NESCAUM exchanges technical information and promotes coordination of technical and policy issues regarding air quality control among the member states.
Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships NEEP coordinates energy efficiency efforts in the Northeast among policymakers, regulatory staff, utility staff, and efficiency advocates.
Pace Energy Project Based at Pace University Law School and led by former NESEA board chairman Ed Smeloff, focuses on utility restructuring, renewable energy, and global warming. They are leading an initiative to create a web-based information system to help consumers choose energy suppliers based on their environmental performance.
