A Solar Kit for the Classroom

Wisdom Wisdom for School Power...Naturally
Give your students the tools they need to understand solar and wind technologies. Educators may participate in either or both workshops:
- A Solar Kit for the Classroom; created for grades 3rd -12th with a strong focus at the middle school level; or
- Wind Wisdom for School Power...Naturally. Appropriate for grades K-6th.
At the workshop educators receive:
- engaging, hands-on science and engineering activities that support NYS Learning Standards and Core Curriculum, addressing specific performance indicators; and
- a free energy education kit and support materials for your classroom, center, or institution.
All workshops and materials are free to classroom teachers and non-formal educators in New York through NYSERDA sponsorship.
