Expansion of NYSERDA's School Power...Naturally Program

Under the new School Power...Naturally™ program, several organizations and companies have contracts to upgrade the current program to include teaching tools for wind energy along with the development of data resources, expanded marketing and outreach to teacher and school districts, maintenance for installed PV systems, and general outreach and awareness.  NESEA is excited to be a part this endeavor through its Solar Sails New York program. New York State Energy Research and Development Authority: Energy Smart Students Program. New (2010) Free video available to NYS teachers: "Clean Energy across New York - a Virtual Field Trip," a survey of energy issues and solutions across New York state. This 38-minute DVD, produced by WPBS-TV, will help students, teachers, and parents understand where New York gets its energy from and how to use it more efficiently.
