BE11 Educators Summit
CONNECT. GET INVOLVED. BE PART OF THE DIALOGUE.
Wednesday, March 9, 2011
Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA
8:30am-5:30pm
This NEW Educators Summit is designed to advance the adoption of sustainable energy practices within the built environment. This will occur through educating teachers and non-formal educators about renewable energy, energy efficiency, and energy conservation:
* how it works,
* why we want it, and
* what is involved in its instillation and use.
The Educators Summit will provide opportunities to:
- Gain hands-on training and curriculum in energy efficiency and renewable energy concepts and practices;
- Learn how to incorporate STEM lessons into the classroom; and
- Bring together educators with professionals in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and green building, engineering, and architecture to help develop a network and speakers bureau as resources for energy education throughout the Northeast region.
