Geothermal/Groundwater Heat Pump 2-Day Workshop

The UMass Amherst Continuing and Professional Education Series is providing a 2-day workshop on Geothermal and GSHPs.

Geothermal and groundwater heat pumps are an important part of any renewable energy portfolio yet they are often overlooked while wind and solar garner all of the attention. Yet it is Geothermal/GSHPs that provide reliable baseload thermal energy, are readily deployable throughout the region without the encumbrances of extensive permitting, and have the ability to make a significant impact for sustainability.

The upcoming workshop provides an excellent means to learn all about the technology and the regulatory environment in New England.
