Education |
Transportation is a major contributor to global warming and environmental pollution. With increased road congestion and advanced transportation technologies entering the marketplace, now is an excellent time to make young people aware of the challenges and opportunities, and learn how their personal transportation choices can improve their lives and the world they live in.
Each year, NESEA provides a number of workshops for middle and high school teachers. These workshops are free, underwritten by grants from a number of sources. NESEA wishes to thank the following sponsors for supporting last year's professional development training for educators. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Toyota USA Foundation, the U. S. Department of Energy, the Massachusetts Highway Department, and the U. S. Department of Transportation.
Please plan to join NESEA at our second, two-day conference for educators to be held in the Greater Philadelphia Area, PA, October, 2001.
And don't forget to stop back next year to learn about more great workshops!
