Junior Solar Sprint

Congratulations to Nabiha Alam, Jessica Yan, Alex Mansi, and Daniel Vargas from Andries  Hudde Middle School, Brooklyn, NY whose entry "Weapons Grade Plutonium" won them 1st place for Innovation at the 2001 Northeast Regional JSS Championship.

Nabiha, Jessica, Alex, and Daniel, with their entry "Weapons Grade Plutonium," also won 1st place in Speed and won the title of Grand Champions. 

Congratulations to Yan Wang from DeWitt Middle School, Ithaca, NY whose car "Odyssey" won him 2nd place for Innovation at the 2001 Northeast Regional JSS Championship.

Yan also took 3rd place for Technical Merit with his car "Odyssey."

Congratulations to Josh Nason (shown) and his team mate James Collins from the Middle School of the Kennebunks, Kennebunk, ME whose car "Speed Thrust" won them a trophy for 3rd place in Innovation at the 2001 Northeast Regional JSS Championship.
