Getting around without gasoline
Description
This interdisciplinary unit explores the feasibility of "Getting Around Without Gasoline." Students interpret statistics, develop graphs, express their thoughts in writing, and conduct mathematical calculations in order to compare powering vehicles with gasoline vs. electricity. Activities include designing a model vehicle and a city, and selecting a project that will make a difference in their community. Background information included. 60 pages
