Bensonwood, a design-build company located in Walpole, NH, seeks a Junior Level Engineer to join its team located in Walpole, New Hampshire.

Primary Responsibilities

• Compute load requirements and member & connection capacities to determine design specifications
• Plan and design foundations, floor & roof framing, and timber frame structures following construction and government codes and standards, using analysis software, excel spreadsheets, and 3d and 2d CAD drawing tools
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction and structural alternatives to timber framers, carpenters, architects, construction managers, and sales associates.

Ideal candidate will have

• B.S. in structural, mechanical, or civil engineering
• Information Modeling Computer Aided Design study or experience
• E.I.T. preferred
• Construction experience preferred
