Located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is the site of the once prominent Frank Jones Brewery, New England's largest brewery prior to prohibition.  This competition will be focused on the revamp of one of its large, abandoned 19th century buildings as well as the design of a new annex.  The objective is to create energy efficient housing units and commercial spaces that do not sacrifice on aesthetics, occupant comfort or affordability.  Competition requirements will force students to think holistically about their designs and how energy will be conserved.
