(280W,4’X6’, mounted on a pipe and adjustable). An attached Greenhouse/Sun space 8' wide x 25' long x 9 1/2' high was owner designed and built in 1980. The design is an irregular arc with twin wall polycarbonate glazing. Each end wall has a glass slider. An external roll down shade is used in summertime. A passive solar water heater provides all of our domestic use from April to October. A solar oven, owner designed and built is used to cook, bake, reheat and dry foods. A 20' x 80' raised bed provides organic fruit and vegetables. The attached greenhouse/sunspace provides required heat to the house from April to October. 300 gallons of fuel oil savings. Heating boiler is off 7 months.
