John Abrams is cofounder and CEO of South Mountain Company, a 37-year-old employee owned design/build and renewable energy company in West Tisbury, Massachusetts. John's book "Companies We Keep: Employee Ownership and the Business of Community and Place" was published by Chelsea Green Publishing in 2008.
Peter Adamczyk
Peter Adamczyk is the Energy Finance and Development Manager for the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation. Mr. Adamczyk brings more than 23 years of investment and finance experience in New York, San Francisco and London to this position. He has a B.A. in International Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Adriana Akers
Adriana Akers is a Sustainability Analyst at the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services, where she works in the office responsible for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from city government
operations 30% by 2017. In this position, she has worked to benchmark the energy use of nearly 3,000 City-owned buildings and led the development of an incentives program to encourage energy conservation in
municipal operations. Prior to this role, Adriana was a New York City Urban Fellow. She holds a B.A. from Barnard College.
Robb Aldrich
Robb Aldrich received his Masters from the Building Systems engineering program at the University of Colorado. Since then, he has focused on high-performance energy systems such as envelope technologies, HVAC and solar systems. Mr. Aldrich has designed, installed ad monitored energy use in hundreds of homes across the United States.
Emaan Ammar
Emaan Ammar recently graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. Since graduating, she has been working as a solar energy consultant for Mr. Everett Barber, Solar Consultant, LLC. Emaan is currently consulting on a large-scale commercial solar thermal project as well as researching and conducting analyses for Mr. Barber's consumer's guide on residential solar energy applications.
Amelia Amon
Amelia Amon is a solar designer with an aesthetic approach to energy. Her company, Alt.Technica, develops solar products and installations, including lighting, freezer carts, fountains, interpretive exhibits for science centers, and solar awnings as Design Fellow at NYU.
Megan Amsler
A native of Wellfleet, MA, Megan Amsler grew up on an organic farm where sustainability was a way of life. Megan is now the Executive Director of Self-Reliance, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote environmentally sound technologies and sustainable practices. Ms. Amsler is the chair of the Falmouth Energy Committee and Treasurer of the Cape & Islands Renewable Energy Collaborative. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Small Wind division of the American Solar Energy Society and the Small Wind Certification Council. Ms. Amsler is also an adjunct faculty member at Cape Cod Community College where she teaches renewable energy.
Gunnar Baldwin
Gunnar left teaching mathematics to help to promote water efficient plumbing in 1977. His efforts contributed to standards changes, eventually leading to the passing of the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) in 1992. Mr. Baldwin is a charter director at the Alliance for Water Efficiency.

Barbra Batshalom
Barbra Batshalom is the founder and Executive Director of The Green Roundtable, an independent "not-just-for-profit" organization whose mission is to transform the environment so that natural and human systems thrive in synergy. Ms. Batshalom created and launched the first industry-wide Sustainable Performance Institute (green firm) certification for design and construction companies.With a diverse background of fine arts, social psychology and seventeen years in architecture and consulting, Barbra brings a variety of skills to all of her work and unique perspective engaging the human dynamics of decision-making and creative collaboration to technical work, to ultimately optimize building system integration, enhance quality and performance of projects.
Lauren Baumann
Lauren, Vice President, LEED AP BD&C and Homes, joined New Ecology, Inc. in 2005. Her experience as a scientist and as an urban planner, and her passion for the practical application of sustainable development concepts have made Lauren a leader in the green affordable housing field. At NEI, Lauren manages the green new construction program.
David Beavers
David Beavers, CEM, CSDP, is a senior associate at The Cadmus Group, Inc. Mr. Beavers has more than 15 years of field and consulting experience in engineering and energy. For the past eight years, he has led Cadmus' work toward project solar development and quality assurance and monitoring and verification studies. His current works includes serving as the sole third party Meter Reader for tracking and verification of energy generated from photovoltaic sources used to claim Massachusetts Solar Renewable Energy Certificates. Mr. Beavers holds a B.A. in physics from Grinnell College, a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and an M.A. in environmental studies from Brown University.
Nils Behn
Nils Behn is Director of the Wind Business Unit at Alteris Renewables (www.alterisinc.com) and manages the Northern New England region for Alteris. Nils has been in the wind energy business since 1999 when he was project manager and electrical technician for Northern Power Systems. His recent projects including installing the first wind turbine at a ski area in Vermont at Bolton Valley Ski Area and the first community scale wind turbine in Western North Carolina at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, a project partially funded by the students.
Chris Benedict
Chris Benedict is a licensed Architect in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Washington D.C. She is a graduate of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union in New York City. Before starting her own architectural firm in 1995 she managed retail, commercial and residential projects for four architectural firms in New York City. Chris is a sought after public speaker and has presented her projects nationally. She teaches about energy efficiency and sustainable practices to Architects, Engineers, students and Contractors.
Krista Benoit
Krista Benoit is a Job Captain with Dietz & Company Architects, Inc. in Springfield, Massachusetts. Ms. Benoit is currently working on a 32,000 square foot transitional housing facility which will be the first LEED certified supportive housing project in the state. Ms. Benoit maintains a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License.
Howard Bernstein
Howard Bernstein is the Program Manager for the Massachusetts Renewable and Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards (RPS & APS), having worked on RPS since helping to draft the initial proposed Regulation in 2001. Since 1983 he has held a series of other program management and policy responsibilities at the MA Department of Energy Resources. Prior to that, he was the Energy coordinator for Belmont and Framingham, Massachusetts, 1979-82. Howard is a graduate of Yale College, earned his master's and doctoral degrees at the University of Chicago, conducted research in a small village in southern India, and taught anthropology for several years before shifting to energy and the public sector.
Michael Blasnik
Michael Blasnik is an independent consultant with almost thirty years of experience in building science research and energy efficiency program design and evaluation. His work has focused on figuring out what really works and what doesn't and not relying on performance claims based on model projections. He invented zonal pressure diagnostics while investigating the performance of insulation in flat roof row houses in Philadelphia. His current projects include heading up the impact assessment in the evaluation of the National Weatherization Assistance Program and working on simplified methods for modeling energy use.
Dwayne Breger
Dwayne Breger is the Director of the Renewable and Alternative Energy Development Division at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources. His Division implements the state's RPS programs and other initiatives to promote renewable energy in the Commonwealth. He has worked in the renewable energy field for 30 years and holds a PhD from UMass, Amherst and other degrees from MIT and Swarthmore.

Marc Breslow
Marc Breslow is the Director of Transportation & Buildings Policy with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs. In 2010 he led the team that developed the state's Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2020; and is now charged with coordinating implementation of the Plan. He is currently Co-Chair of the Climate Change Steering Committee of the Conference of New England Governors & Eastern Canadian Premiers. Mr. Breslow is part of the team that developed and is implementing the Stretch Code,Massachusetts' local-option high-efficiency building code. He was the primary drafter of the state's 2008 Clean Energy Biofuels Act. Before joining the administration of Governor Deval Patrick, Breslow was Executive Director of the Massachusetts Climate Action Network. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst.
Kevin Bright
Kevin Bright is the Assistant Program Manager of Green Building Services (GBS)of the Harvard Engineering, Facilities and Green Building Services Department. Mr. Bright co-leads the efforts of GBS to provide sustainable building design, consruction and operations guidance, specifically building commissioning and energy auditing. To date, his team has achieved LEED certification for 45 university buildings and spaces, acted as the Commissioning Authority on 18 projects and have audited 32 buildings to ASHRAE Level II Energy Auditing standards.
Sharon Brind
Sharon Brind is President of Cloverleaf Energy and Environmental Design, a consultancy focusing on offering sustainable initiatives for cultural institutions. Ms. Brind has a Master's in Museum Studies from FIT and 10 years in the Art and Antiques Industry. For the past couple of years, she has been the Forum Coordinator for GreenHomeNYC, a non-profit organization for green building based in New York City. She is also a LEED AP and BPI certified.
Martha Broad
Martha Broad is a Senior Project Manager of the Community Scale Wind Program at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC). This award-winning program supports the development of utility-scale wind projects in Massachusetts. Prior to joining MassCEC, she was the Managing Director of CLF Ventures, the consulting arm of the Conservation Law Foundation, where she launched and managed a unique for-profit green auto insurance agency. In addition, as General Manager of Rainforest Crunch, she led the startup and management of all aspects of this cause-oriented gourmet candy manufacturer. She received her undergraduate degree from Hampshire College and has an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
Stephen Burrington
Stephen Burrington helps design and implement energy, transportation and smart growth strategies for state and local governments, developers, large property owners and nongovernmental organizations. He helps direct the EE2020 in Massachusetts and has, in the past, served as commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, undersecretary in the MA Office for Commonwealth Development and Vice President and general counsel of the Conservation Law Foundation.
Scott Calisti
Scott Calisti, LEED AP, is a Program Manager at the Massachusetts Division of Capital Management (DCAM) where he is responsible for the oversight of facilities maintenance projects at 24 state and community colleges. He also developed and manages DCAM's commissioning program which contract for independent, third-party commissioning services for DCAM capital projects.
Jean Carroon
Jean Carroon is the Principal for Preservation at Goody Clancy, a Boston design firm of 100 architects, planners, urban designers and conservators. Nationally recognized for her achievements in the field of sustainable design for historic buildings, she is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation Sustainability Coalition, Boston Mayor Menino's Green Building Task Force, and one of the founders of the Technical Committee on Sustainable Preservation with the Association of Preservation Technology. She is the author of Sustainable Preservation; Greening Existing Buildings, which is being published in 2009 by John Wiley & Sons. Her current projects include renovations for the General Services Administration, Harvard University and the University of Michigan.
Sarah Carter
Sarah carter joined Petersen Engineering in 2009 after working for Jacobs Engineering, designing HVAC systems for large government facilities. Sarah has a variety of experience designing efficient mechanical systems, performing LEED energy models, and executing building information modeling.

Leo F Casey
Dr. Leo Casey is vice president and chief technology officer of Satcon Technology Corporation, a leading provider of utility-scale, grid-connected renewable energy solutions for distributed power markets. He has driven continuous innovation in the field of renewable power conversion over the past 10 years, including associated energy storage mechanisms, and grid interconnection techniques. Dr. Casey received a BE degree at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and MSc, EE, and ScD degrees at MIT. He has more than 25 years of experience in the renewable energy conversion industry.

Timothy Cole
Dr. Timothy Cole is a member of the Connecticut Energy Advisory Board, the senior-most energy policy group in the state. He also chairs the Renewable Portfolio Standard subcommittee of the board currently investigating possible amendments to the standard. He works as a consultant specializing in nonprofit strategic planning, program development and building successful operational partnerships and networks. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dartmouth College, Tim holds a doctorate in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin.

Caitriona Cooke

Darien Crimmin
Darien Crimmin is Vice President of Energy and Sustainability for WinnCompanies and is responsible for managing energy efficiency programs across Winn's portfolio of residential properties. Prior to joining WinnDevelopment, Mr. Crimmin worked for Harvard University's Office for Sustainability and managed the university's Green Building Services. He helped to develop Harvard's largest solar thermal installation, designed training modules for Harvard University's Operations Services and created utility measurement tools to track energy performance across the university.

Andrew D'Agostino
As Weatherization Director, Andrew D'Agostino oversees weatherization work funded by a $5 million grant from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) through New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR). Mr. D'Agostino is responsible for deploying the grant to low-income multifamily buildings that are in need of weatherization assistance. He will analyze a building's energy audit and complete a work scope that will enhance the energy efficiency of that building. Prior to being appointed Weatherization Director, Andrew was a Mortgage Officer for CPC where he worked to provide mortgage capital to multifamily building owners for purchase and rehabilitation of dilapidated properties. Recently, Mr. D'Agostino has been involved with CPC's Green Financing Initiative. Through this initiative, CPC is able to provide building owners with quick and easy financing solutions with straightforward options for retrofitting existing multifamily buildings to achieve optimum energy efficiency and cost savings. Mr. D'Agostino earned his B.S. and his M.B.A. from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.

Jim D'Aloisio is a Principal with Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt of Syracuse, New York. He is active with USGBC's New York chapter and the SEI Sustainability Committee. He has extensive structural design experience with SIPs, ICFs and details minimizing thermal bridging.
William D'Arrigo
William D'Arrigo serves as Conservation Services Group's LEED for Homes QAD. He also manages projects following the National Green Building Standard and ENERGY STAR Homes program. Mr. D'Arrigo's certifications include LEED AP, LEED for Homes Green Rater, NAHB Accredited Verifier, HERS Rater and Level I Thermographer.
Dorian Dale
Dorian Dale is the Energy Director of the Town of Babylon, New York. The town of Babylon introduced the Long Island Green Homes program to enhance the energy efficiency of the town's 65,000 detached houses. He is also the Executive Director of The Babylon Project and a charter member of the national Urban Sustainability Directors Network, serving on its Planning Committee. As an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, he was one of the directors of the original Earth Day in 1970 and helped to start an environmental management program at Wharton.
Henrietta Davis
Henrietta Davis is serving her eighth term on the Cambridge City Council and is currently the city's Vice Mayor. She is the Chair of the Council's Environment Committee. Ms. Davis also serves on the Massachusetts Municipal Association Energy and Environmental Policy Committee. During her eight council terms, Ms. Davis has focused on energy and the environment, non-auto transportation, neighborhood preservation and children's health. Additionally, Ms. Davis led the Council to adopt a Green Building policy for all new city buildings. She is currently heading the Cambridge Silver Ribbon committee to plan for the city's aging population and co-chairs the Healthy Children Task Force. Ms. Davis is a newly-elected member of the Board of ICLEI.
Lynn DiTullio
Lynn DiTullio, P.E., is an associate with The Cadmus Group, Inc. She has 27 years of experience in energy, engineering and consulting. Ms. DiTullio is an engineering and business consultant specializing in renewable power and energy efficiency for industry and institutions. Her recent projects have included energy analysis for farms, value-added food processors and greenhouses. A registered professional engineer in Massachusetts, she has also performed analysis of a large combined cycle cogeneration facility and conducted feasibility studies for cogeneration power plants. Ms. DiTullio holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and she has authored several articles on cogeneration.
Alexander Donovan

Alexander is responsible for design, planning and programming, and construction administration of mixed use and residential projects ranging in size from 12 units to more than 400 units.

Mike Duclos is a principal and founder of The DEAP Energy Group, LLC, a consultancy providing a wide variety of Deep Energy Retrofit, Zero Net Energy and Passive House related consulting services. Mike was an energy consultant on the Transformations, Inc. Zero Energy Challenge entry, and has worked on a variety of Zero Net Energy, DER and Passive House projects, including two National Grid DER projects which qualified for the ACI Thousand Homes Challenge, Option B,
and a feasibility study of a retrofit to the Passive House new home performance standard. Mr. Duclos is a HERS Rater with Mass. New Homes With ENERGY STAR program, a Building Science Certified Infrared Thermographer, a Certified Passive House Consultant who certified the second Passive House in Massachusetts, holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UMass Lowell, and two patents.
David Dungate
David Dungate is the founder and President of ACT Bioenergy, LLC, a US-based manufacturer and developer of biomass heating systems. He will present case studies of a number of medium-to-large biomass projects. David's presentation will point out the importance of the nature of the biomass fuel and of fuel water content in achieving improved system efficiency and cleaner combustion. David received his Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of British Columbia and his Masters of Environmental Engineering from Hokkaido University in Japan.
Jim Dunn
Jim Dunn is President of Energy Technology Consultants and Future Solar Systems. He is past Director of NASA's NorthEast Technology Center. He has a BSEE from WPI. He was Technical Advisor to the MIT 2007 Solar Decathlon entry.
Mark Durrenberger
Mark Durrenberger is the President and founder of New England Breeze, LLC. His company, based in Hudson, Massachusetts, sells and installs alternative energy generation equipment including small wind turbines, and solar photovoltaic and hot water systems. The turbines they install range from the small Skystream 3.7 to the 100 kW Northwind 100 generator. Mark Durrenberger received his Masters of Science in Energy Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from The University of Lowell (Massachusetts).

Liz Eisenberg
Liz Eisenberg is a Multifamily Energy Analyst at Steven Winter Associates, Inc. (SWA) in New York City. Her work at SWA focuses on development and implementation of sustainable business practices, portfolio-wide management strategies and energy master planning. She performs audits, site inspections and system performance testing in residential buildings, promoting energy-saving practices. She received her BA from the University of Wisconsin Madison and completed a Masters in City and Regional Planning at Pratt Institute.
Paul Eldrenkamp
Paul Eldrenkamp is founder and owner of Byggmeister Inc., a 25-year-old design-build remodeling company based in Newton, MA with a particular focus on substantial reductions to household energy use. He has been on the board of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association, the Green Decade Coalition, and the Newton Historical Society; he is currently serving on Governor Patrick's Zero Net Energy Building Task Force. Paul writes often on energy and environmental issues for trade and consumer publications, and also speaks regularly at building industry conferences and for local environmental organizations.
Kim Erslev
Kim Erslev is a practicing architect and landscape architect with her own firm, Salmon Falls Ecological Design. She has more than 15 years of experience with sustainable landscape and architectural design. Ms. Erslev is a core faculty member at the Conway School of Landscape Design where she teaches landscape design, site engineering and graphics. Her professional work is dedicated to creating designs that connect humans with the inherent power and beauty of natural systems. Her current design practice focuses on super-insulated passive solar buildings, ecological and food-producing landscapes and co-housing communities. Ms. Erslev holds a B.A from Wesleyan University, a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts.
Luke Falk
Luke Falk is a Project Manager for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). He manages NYSERDA's suite of state-wide energy efficiency and green building programs targeting the multifamily housing market. He is an adjunct member of the faculty of Columbia University's Earth Institute and the School of Continuing Education. Last year, Mr. Falk was an adjunct member of the faculty at The Cooper Union, where he taught in the Green Building Design Certificate Program. In 2009, he served as the Conference Chair for Northeast Sustainable Energy Association's BuildingEnergy Conference.
Dieter Fenkart-Froschl
Dieter Fenkart-Froschl is the Director of Operational Planning and Analysis at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. He is responsible for providing overall guidance, support and analysis to the operations, maintenance and research activities of the $50+ million Operations groups and other divisions within the museum. Since coming to the museum in 2005, he has assisted in enhancing existing operations by examining and helping set strategic goals to reduce costs, determine operational capacities, reinforce best management practices and augment service levels. He currently serves as the museum's point of contact for all matters related to sustainability and is an active member of the museum's Sustainable Practices Committee. Mr. Fenkart-Froschl is a native of Austria and holds a BA from Brandeis University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Ian Finlayson
Ian Finlayson is the Manager of Buildings and Climate Programs at the Department of Energy Resources in Massachusetts. His current green building portfolio includes development of the Massachusetts stretch energy code, building energy labeling and efficiency pilots and assessment of code compliance for both residential and commercial buildings. Prior to joining state government, Ian worked for a large US affordable housing developer, was a consultant to the United Nations and taught in Japan. He holds degrees from Edinburgh University and MIT.
Laura Fitch
Laura Fitch is a principal with Kraus-Fitch Architects, Inc. in Amherst, Massachusetts and a 16-year resident of Pioneer Valley Cohousing. Kraus-Fitch Architects specializes in energy efficient building design for homes, commercial properties and smart growth communities. They have worked on programming, schematic design, and/or full services on over two dozen cohousing communities across North America.
Jim Fitzgerald
Mr. Fitzgerald, Director of Building Diagnostics with Conservation Services Group in Boston, MA, has over 30 years of field experience in implementing quality insulation and air leakage management practices in work on existing homes and into large-scale projects. He has, for the past four years, also provided consulting services and contractor-training sessions in conjunction with the MN Builders Association on new stucco homes with moisture problems. Mr. Fitzgerald began work in this field as an insulation contractor.
Jason Forney

Eric Friedman
Eric Friedman directs the State of Massachusetts Leading by Example Program (LBE) at the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EFA). The LBE Program works with dozens of large state agencies and authorities and 29 public colleges and universities to develop and implement environmental programs. In his current role with the Department of Energy Resources, Eric manages the implementation of various efficiency and renewable energy projects funded by millions of dollars in Federal stimulus monies. In 2008, Eric was asked to lead the Governor's Zero Net Energy Task Force, which issued a set of recommendations in March 2009 that would set the state on a path towards universal adoption of zero net energy buildings by 2030.
Michael Garjian
Michael Garjian earned nine worldwide patents while manufacturing and distributing his inventions globally. In 2002, he introduced EM2, an alternative economic model, to be funded by Cityfarms, that uses alternative fuels to grow organic crops indoors in city buildings. Jason S. Gifford, senior consultant at Sustainable Energy Advantage, has over ten years of experience in the development of renewable energy policy, market and financial analysis, and REC market policy and development. Prior to joining SEA, Mr. Gifford served as Industry Investment and Development Manager at the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust. Jordan Goldman

He is a LEED Accredited Professional, Passive House Consultant, NAHB Green Verifier, and a HERS Rater. Jordan studied Environmental Engineering at Cornell University, where he received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering.
Kate Goldstein
Kate Goldstein earned her Bachelor's Degree in engineering from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Ms. Goldstein fell in love with the connection between energy and the environment and explored the field in latter half of college. She co-authored a book chapter on lignocellulosic biofuels after an NSF-funded research experience for undergraduates. She worked installing solar thermal and solar PV systems for Alteris at the end of her college career and during the summer afterwards, and also worked as a consultant for the same company. She got her masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Architectural Engineering after finding her place studying energy in buildings. She is now at MIT in the first year of her PhD working in the Building Technology department. Kate's thesis will look at quantitative infrared thermography for targeted energy efficiency improvements in local Boston neighborhoods, and hopefully beyond.
Justin Good
Justin Good is a philosopher, community development activist and is the Executive Director of the Sanctuary at Shepardsfield, an environmental education non-profit organization located on a 40-acre land preserve in East Haddam, Connecticut. Mr. Good currently teaches courses at the Sanctuary and at the University of Connecticut.
Joel Gordes
Joel Gordes has been involved in energy efficiency and renewable energy for 35 years. He has worked in research, design and sales of active and passive solar technologies as well as on policy issues such as climate change when he was a State Representative. Frank Gorke
Since 2008, Assistant Secretary Frank Gorke has served as the Director of the Division of Energy Efficiency at the MA Department of Energy Resources. During his tenure, his division oversaw the creation of the nation's most aggressive utility-operated energy efficiency programs. Mr. Gorke and his team also led groundbreaking work in building energy codes. Prior to joining the DOER, Mr. Gorke launched Environment Massachusetts, a statewide environmental advocacy program. Debra Halls leads the Patrick Administration's efforts to sustainably renovate and green the operations of the 48,000 units of state-supported, locally run public housing in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Advisory Council and served on the Zero Net Energy Buildings Task Force. Ms. Hall previously managed corporate sustainability programs with Business for Social Responsibility and Ceres, a national coalition of environmental groups and socially responsible investors. Great Rock's stated mission is to promote small wind power through the installation of safe, reliable and cost-effective small wind energy systems. Nancy Hazard
Nancy Hazard is a promoter and a community organizer who has worked in the field of sustainable energy and climate change solutions for over 30 years as a builder, teacher, director of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA), and director of the Tour de Sol, America's green car festival and competition. She joined NESEA in 1989 to build the Tour de Sol from a six-car event to an annual 50-car event of international significance. In 2006, she left NESEA to co-create the Greening Greenfield campaign in collaboration with the Greening Greenfield Energy Committee and the Town of Greenfield, MA. In addition to in-depth knowledge about energy and climate change issues, Ms. Hazard has experience in community organizing and fund raising, with special expertise in building collaborative efforts that include local, state and federal governments, corporations, educational and environmental non-profits and concerned citizens.

Jacquelynn Henke is TD Bank's U.S. Real Estate Green Strategy Officer charged with developing and executing the bank's environmental sustainability efforts. Based in Boston, MA, Henke oversees the continued implementation of the bank's green initiatives for its real estate operations from Maine to Florida. Prior to joining TD Bank, Henke was the sustainability manager and a senior project manager for Harvard University's Allston Development Group. While at Harvard, she worked to achieve sustainability goals for the University's planned projects in its Allston Campus expansion and she also co-chaired the committee that updated the University's green building standards. Maggie McCarey
Maggie McCarey is a Clean Energy Fellow with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, where she manages State Energy Program grants funded through stimulus dollars for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects at state facilities. She currently manages a $10 million statewide effort to install real-time metering equipment at over 400 state buildings to monitor energy usage data through an Enterprise Energy Management System. Ms. McCarey has a degree in environmental geology and environmental studies from Northeastern University.
Charles McClelland
Charlie McClelland is an Associate with The Cadmus Group, Inc., where his primary work involves wind project feasibility as well as the monitoring and verification of small wind systems for state granting authorities. Prior to joining Cadmus, Mr. McClelland worked in support of Community Wind projects throughout New England with the Wind Energy Center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Mr. McClelland also specializes in small wind turbine testing, wind resource assessment and community outreach and education. He is working towards completion of his MS in mechanical engineering at UMass Amherst and holds a BS in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Sadie McKeown
Since 1996, Sadie McKeown has served at Community Preservation Corporation as Senior Vice President and Director of Lending in CPC's Hudson Valley and Connecticut regions. Sadie is also directing CPC's newly created Energy Efficiency Retrofit Loan Program, aimed at greening multi-family buildings in low-income communities. The program combines public incentives for energy retrofits with private dollars to reduce a borrower's energy, heat and water costs as well as reduce their carbon footprint. Ms. McKeown graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. and earned her Masters Degree from Cornell University.

There, he is working in the implementation of the Green Loan Program, working with CPC staff and building owners across New York State. He has 30 years of experience in building science and has performed detailed energy analysis on hundreds of buildings across the country. He lives in NYC and is involved in many sustainable causes there, including GreenHomeNYC, the Clinton Community Garden and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association. He served as the Conference Chair of NESEA's 2008 BuildingEnergy Conference in Boston and was Vice Chair of the 2009 Conference. In 2010, he received NESEA's Distinguished Service Award, which has been awarded to only 12 people in the last 35 years.
Ken Payne
Ken Payne is the Administrator of the State of Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources. He was previously a research professor at the University of Rhode Island, a senior policy advisor to the Rhode Island senate and a federal projects coordinator for US Senator Claiborne Pell. He has taught at the graduate level at the University of Rhode Island, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Clark University and Roger Williams University.
Sean Penrith
Since 2005, Sean Penrith and his team have successfully grown Earth Advantage Institute (EAI) into a leading program provider and think-tank to devise creative green building programs, market mechanisms, and climate change solutions for the built environment. He believes that carbon mitigation solutions and voluntary carbon markets have a pivotal role to play in the built environment and would further catalyze the green building movement. To this end, he championed the creation of an Energy Performance Score (EPS) scorecard that details the energy performance and the carbon impact of a home. Initially developed for Energy Trust of Oregon, the EPS score has subsequently been used in Seattle and is now central to a 4-state DOE funded program to catalyze the market for home energy upgrades.
Robert Perschel
Robert Perschel is the Northeast Region Director for the Forest Guild. In his 30 years as an environmental professional, he has worked on both forestry and wilderness issues. In his current role, he directs the regional program for the Northeast that promotes ecological forestry and brings forestry professionals into critical policy debates. He represented the Forest Guild in the Manomet Biomass Sustainability and Carbon Policy Study for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources.
Duncan Prahl
Duncan Prahl is a Registered Architect in New York and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He has nearly ten years of experience at IBACOS assisting builders and developers with implementing high performance houses through the US DOE Building America program. His research focuses on process-related barriers in most builders' organizations, with the goal of creating new process models for builders.
Mark Price
Mark is Principal Consultant at Price Sustainability Associates, Inc., and has been collaborating with builders, architects, developers, policy makers and homeowners for over a decade on homes for an energy-constrained future. His work focuses on very high performance new homes, achieving deep energy reductions in existing homes, and partnering with the residential building industry to define and promote building best practices. Mark and his wife enjoy sustainable homesteading and are raising two boys, nine laying hens and around 20,000 honey bees in Maynard, Massachusetts.
Bernice Radle
Bernice Radle works as a program coordinator for Buffalo Energy, one of Buffalo's premier energy consulting firms. Ms. Radle is responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the energy retrofitting process including energy audits, utility bill analysis, building modeling and construction management. For the past three years, Ms. Radle has been managing a large energy retrofitting project that consists of 16 low-income, historic, multifamily buildings; three of which have received awards from NYSERDA for the highest actual energy savings in New York State. Ms. Radle also serves as the chair of WYNESA, the Western New York chapter of NESEA.
Indigo Raffel
Indigo Raffel is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Conservation Consultant Inc., a 30-year-old Pittsburgh organization whose mission is to promote responsible energy use. CCI is housed in CCI Center, a Gold LEED EB building located in the Southside of Pittsburgh. Indigo comes with almost thirty years of teaching experience and has worked at CCI for 10 years. She has created, taught and coordinated staff development, in-service teacher workshops, pre-service, community and student programs in energy and energy efficiency and what it takes to live and work in a green building. Over 1,500 students from 4th to 12th grade come to CCI Center for their first Green Building experience and to learn about the Building as a Teaching Tool (BATT). Indigo has worked with various Pittsburgh environmental partners on BATT programs: The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, Green Building Alliance of Pittsburgh, Three Rivers Earth Force, Pittsburgh Public and Parochial School.
Susan Reid
Susan Reid is a Senior Attorney and Director of the Massachusetts Clean Energy & Climate Change Initiative at Conservation Law Foundation. There, she focuses on addressing the compelling challenge of climate change through policy development and litigation geared toward fostering deployment of clean energy solutions and reducing dependence on carbon-intensive energy resources. Susan holds a JD from Boston University and a BA from the University of New Hampshire.
Joel Rinebold
Joel M. Rinebold, Director of Energy Initiatives at CCAT, focuses on the advancement of fuel cell and hydrogen technology, energy and infrastructure planning, and the development of renewable and advanced energy technologies for Connecticut and the Northeast.
Robert Rizzo
Rob is the Bioenergy Program Manager for the MA Department of Energy Resources (DOER). His current activities include the development of new regulations on the use of biomass that address the complex issues of greenhouse gases and forest sustainability, coordinating the state's efforts to encourage the installation of new low-emission, high-efficiency wood boilers, and providing technical assistance to municipalities. Mr. Rizzo previously worked at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA, where he was instrumental in their transition to a renewable energy powered campus, developing both curriculum and field applications of biomass thermal, biomass gasification CHP, and large wind and solar PV installations.
Lindsay Robbins
Ms. Robbins works in NYSERDA's New York City office where she manages NYSERDA's Cleaner Greener Communities Program, which provides funding for sustainability planning and implementation; and works on the development and implementation of green building and energy efficiency programs for multifamily residential buildings. Before coming to NYSERDA, Ms. Robbins worked at New York University's Office of Strategic Assessment, Planning & Design where she worked on the development of NYU's Design Standards & Guidelines and NYU's 25-year real estate expansion plan.

Marc Rosenbaum, of South Mountain Company is well known in NESEA circles as one who never lets ignorance stand in the way of expressing a firmly held opinion. He is a long time student of making good buildings and continues to be amazed that his clients put up with him.
Timothy Roughan
Tim Roughan is the Director of Product Management for National Grid's distribution companies, which serve 6.8 million electric and gas customers in New England and New York. His prior positions include Director of Distributed Resources, Business Services Vice President and the Manager of Power Quality Services. He has been with National Grid and its predecessor for 28 years. The Product Management group works on developing new products to provide bundled customer solutions including energy efficiency, power quality services, smart grid technologies and distributed generation.
V. Robert Salcido
Robert Salcido is a Senior Engineer and Director of Products with Architectural Energy Corporation (AEC), a firm specializing in sustainable design and analysis of buildings as well as energy information products. Mr. Salcido has been with AEC for 12 years and has been working in the area of energy efficiency in buildings since 1992. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado. Mr. Salcido is the product manager for the REM/Rate home energy rating software and REM/Design home energy analysis software.
Pat Sapinsley
Pat Sapinsley is an investment professional at Good Energies, Inc., a leading global venture capital firm in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industry, which focuses on investments in solar and wind as well as energy efficiency and green buildings. As a LEED AP and licensed architect, she addresses the issues of investment in energy efficiency. She is co chair of the Committee on the Environment (COTE) of the NY Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Pat Sapinsley holds a BA from Hampshire College and a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She is a Board Member of the Riverside Park Fund, has been involved in the NYC's efforts to green the building codes and is an active member of USGBC's Urban Green. She is a member of the Harvard Graduate School of Design Alumni Council.

Kevin Schulte
In early 2002, Kevin Schulte left Renewable Energy Systems (RES) to start his own wind company, Sustainable Energy Developments, Inc. (SED), with four friends from James Madison University. Since the inception of the company in 2002 to the present day, Mr. Schulte's number one goal has been to grow the company with like-minded individuals who share his vision of integrating wind power into the daily lives of the average person through environmentally and economically viable on-site wind projects. Shulte's efforts to grow, sell and build on-site wind projects for SED were rewarded in early 2009 when the SED Board of Directors named him the Chief Executive Officer of the company. In 2010, Shulte spearheaded the forming of DWEA (Distributed Wind Energy Association), a federal lobbying entity for wind. He will serve as the Vice President of the organization.

His primary responsibilities are currently as an instructor for both the four-day Level I - Infrared for Building Applications and the two-day IR for Weatherization and Energy Audits courses. Matt recently finished leading a successful series of the two-day IR Weatherization classes for the New York State Weatherization Directors Association (NYSWDA).

Andrew Shapiro
Andy Shapiro provides design consulting services to owners, architects, engineers and builders, housing developers, universities, businesses and utilities. He is also the Energy Scientist for the Vermont Energy Education Program. Projects include both NRG Systems office and manufacturing (close to 100% renewably powered) in Hinesburg, VT, affordable housing, a food coop and micro-load / "net-zero-energy" houses.
Shawn Shaw
Shawn Shaw, a senior associate at The Cadmus Group, has nearly a decade of experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency. This work has included site assessments, economic feasibility studies, wind resource data analysis/collection, turbine performance studies and clean energy program evaluations. Mr. Shaw performs technical analysis and review of solar and wind energy project proposals ranging from residential scale wind turbines to multi-turbine wind energy facilities. He has led testing efforts on small wind turbines in Massachusetts and Connecticut and is known for his work on siting and system performance evaluation for small wind turbines. When not working with renewable energy, Shawn enjoys a variety of activities that most people consider at least 500 years out of fashion. Shawn lives in metro Boston with his wife, two children and four cats.
Lester Shen
As Director of Innovative Technologies at Center for Energy and Environment, Lester Shen's role is to keep abreast of the latest technology and energy efficiency trends and advances that can inform and enhance the development and delivery of current and future CEE's projects. He also serves as a technical and program advisor to CEE projects and services and has been working on projects dealing with the residential and industrial energy efficiency.
Chuck Silver
Chuck Silver is the founder of Hudson River Design. Mr. Silver has authored dozens of articles on building and energy which have appeared in Solar Age, Fine Homebuilding, The Journal of Light Construction and Northeast Sun. In 1997, Mr. Silver was a featured speaker at the United Nations Conference on Sustainability. Mr. Silver holds a degree in Environmental Systems from the Southern Illinois University and in 2007 Hudson River Design's Common Fire Solidarity House in Tivoli, NY was the first building in New York to be awarded a LEED Platinum rating.
Josiah Simpson
As a landscape designer, Mr. Simpson harnesses the process of forest succession to set in motion intentional-ecosystems that provide landowners multiple yields while also supporting critical ecological services. Tom Spielman
Tom Spielman is the IT Director at the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) in Minneapolis. In his over 20 years of experience, he has done everything from programming embedded systems to designing complex web applications. He received his Computer Science degree in 1987 and then went to work for US West in their Emergency Services division. After eight years, he moved into the non-profit world wanting to use his skills to directly benefit the larger community. In 1997, he found his dream job at CEE which allows him to combine his love of technology with his concern for the environment.

Kevin Stack
Kevin is an ecological builder, building scientist Ecoliteracy educator, BaDT, and LEED Faculty who Builds, Designs and Teaches in Nature's Image.
He first described the innovation of Ecological Performance Standards (EPS), as part of the uniquely adaptable Building in Nature's Image system.
He teaches at SUNY ESF and OCC, educating students to Build in Nature's Image, create EPS, apply Building Science, and actuate the Sciences of Life. Kevin lectures, internationally, as a Biomimicry Speakers Guild member.
Beyond constructing custom projects, Kevin provides LEED for Homes Green Rater & HERS Rater trainings and services, building science, constructability and design support to a diversity of projects including defining EPS for projects; forming a deconstruction infrastructure based on Decomposition; providing Green & HERS Rater, building science, and design support to projects including university dormitories, adaptive reuse, affordable housing and architectural competition winning passive house.

Craig Stead
Craig Stead has worked in energy efficiency and conservation for 30 years. He has used data loggers for 6 years. Various data logger monitoring includes: evaluation of school energy use in ASHRAE level 2 Energy Audit, determining fuel splits in a three boiler school, and remote analysis of wastewater plants. He is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Building Analyst, and Certified Building Commissioning Professional. His degrees: Cornell University BS, Masters of Engineering (Chemical), and Western New England College MBA. He is a Massachusetts and Vermont Registered Professional Engineer. Craig also teaches innovative hands-on science classes at the K-12 level.
David Stecher
Dave Stecher has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His work at IBACOS involves developing better buildings through improved component design and improved installation methods. He is experienced with monitoring the energy and comfort performance of houses. Mr. Stecher has published twice with international Passive House Conference Proceedings and once in ASHRAE Transactions.

Kim Stevenson
Kim Stevenson evaluates proposals and develops and manages programs to support development and commercialization of new clean energy technologies. She has spent over 15 years in innovation and technology management, working with the senior management of Fortune 500 corporations and smaller organizations to conceive, develop and commercialize new products and services focused on energy, industrial and automotive markets. Ms. Stevenson holds a Bachelors of Science degree in physics and a Master of Science degree in urban planning, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Nick Taylor
Nick Taylor is a Housing Systems Analyst for the Program for Resource Efficient Communities, which is housed at the University of Florida. In this role, Nick's work focuses on approaches to analyzing energy use data in order to identify effective energy efficiency measures in residential housing. He also performs energy conservation for Resource Efficient Communities and regional utility providers. Nick holds as Master of Science from the M.E. Rinker Sr. School of Building Construction at the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Technology from North Carolina State University.
Jesse Thompson
Jesse Thompson is the director of technical and digital practices at Kaplan Thompson Architects, maintaining their leadership in energy efficient construction techniques, software adoption and digital construction management. Recently, Mr. Thompson has served as co-designer for Habitat for Humanity Portland's first LEED certified low-energy home. Mr. Thompson is a LEED accredited professional who has focused for a number of years on crafting buildings that bring beauty to people's lives while living lightly on the earth.

Ellen Tohn is an environmental and health consultant with over 20 years of experience. She is the founder and principal of Tohn Environmental Strategies and a nationally recognized expert in housing-based environmental health threats, healthy housing and indoor air quality and lead poisoning prevention. Ms. Tohn received her BA from Cornell University and holds a Master of City Planning from MIT.
George Twigg
Blair Hamilton has more than 30 years of experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy. He led the formation of the nation's first energy efficiency utility, Efficiency Vermont, and is the author of more than 50 publications on energy efficiency and renewable energy. Henry Vandermark
Henry K. Vandermark founded Solar Wave Energy, Inc. in 1978, where he has been involved with all aspects of the design, assembly, installation and service of solar thermal (hot water, pool and space heating) systems. The company currently offers web-based monitoring to measure "production," "contribution," and "displaced energy" and behavior of solar and other heating and cooling equipment.
Tom Walker
Tom Walker is an environmental economist with over 25 years of international and domestic experience. In 2008, he returned to the US from Switzerland, where he directed the establishment of a new ecological restoration program for the United Nations Compensation Commission. Prior to that, Mr. Walker was a managing director at Industrial Economics, Inc., a Cambridge, MA consulting firm where he worked for 24 years. Since returning to the Boston area, Mr. Walker has directed the Manomet biomass study and consulted to the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Open Space Institute on land conservation issues. Mr. Walker is a graduate of Yale and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
Carter Wall
Carter Wall is the Executive Director of the Renewable Energy Generation Division of the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (Mass CEC). Prior to her service at Mass CEC, Ms.Wall was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of PowerOptions, Inc. During her 20 years in the energy industry, she has lead financial and program planning teams for a number of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, including planning for Harvard University's new Allston campus and a multi-billion dollar modernization of O'Hare Airport. She was an associate in the Global Utilities Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch, Assistant Director of the Harvard Electricity Policy Group, and is also past Chairman of the Board of the Pinchot Institute for Conservation. Ms. Wall is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Mark Walsh-Cooke
Mark Walsh-Cooke is a Principal at Arup and Group Leader for the firm's Boston office. He brings over 20 years of international experience, having worked in Arup's London and Sydney locations prior to joining the Boston office. Jay Waterman, LEED AP BD+C, is a Senior Project Manager at Fore Solutions. He uses his extensive experience in the green building industry to manage a wide variety of LEED and green building consulting projects. His career has focused on the development of sustainable and affordable residential communities for over 10 years. Prior to joining Fore Solutions, Mr. Waterman was a founding principal and managing partner of Evergreen Communities. He also worked as Director of Development at Avesta Housing for six years. He continues his work in affordable housing development on select projects in northern New England through Waterman Development, LLC.
Ellen Watts
Ellen Watts is an architect and co-founder of Architerra, a Boston-based sustainable design firm. Ellen brings over 25 years of experience to green campus buildings, including leading work in carbon neutral and zero net energy facilities. Ellen's funded research, "The State of Sustainability in Higher Education," was published in 2007. In 2008/2009, Ellen co-chaired the Massachusetts Governor's Zero Net Energy Building Task Force.
Andrew Webster
Andrew Webster is a Designer and Project Manager at Coldham & Hartman Architects, where he focuses on deep energy reductions in existing homes. He is now a veteran of two Deep Energy Retrofit pilot programs, co-wrote and taught "Zero Energy Homes: How, Why and If," for the Boston Architectural College, and enjoys being an energy geek.
Alfred Weisbrich
Mr. Alfred Weisbrich is President of ENECO Texas LLC, a wind power engineering consulting and IP development & marketing firm. Mr. Weisbrich has a BS and MS degree in Aeronautical Engineering and an MS in Management from RPI. He earned PE Certification in Connecticut an was awarded a Presidential Internship at the NASM, SI and served under its Director, former Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins. His wind power development experience includes a 4 MW wind turbine developed at HSD Div./UTC for NASA/Dol, the Kaman Aerospace 50 kW VAWT built for Sandria Laboratories and independently conceived/patented WARP (TM) advanced wind power technology developed in affiliation with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and NYSERDA.
Ken Wells
Ken Wells holds the Richard A. Rader Chair for Innovative Teaching at St. Mark's School, where he has taught science and math for 26 years. Wells' students participated in the American Tour de Sol (2002 - 2006) and the 21st Century Challenge (2007-2008), campaigning renewable electric and biodiesel vehicles. They have gone on to study and find careers in alternative energy, science, computer and engineering fields, as well as government and public policy. When Wells is not at school, he and his wife are engaged in the pursuit of sustainable living on their solar and wood-fired farm in New Hampshire.
Glenn Weston-Murphy
Glenn Weston-Murphy works at Yale University where he manages the Mechanical Engineering teaching labs in addition to teaching design classes and advising faculty and students on engineering projects. Prior to his work at Yale, Weston-Murphy spent 20 years working in manufacturing and energy production related industry. Mr. Weston-Murphy co-founded the Connecticut Wind Working Group in 2007, in partnership with the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. He also chairs the Town of Guildford Energy Task Force, where he drafted one of the first wind turbine zoning regulations passed in Connecticut, and he recently worked to establish a six-town regional energy collective.
David White
David White has studied, worked and taught in the field of energy-efficient ecological buildings for the past 13 years. He runs Right Environments, offering high performance building consulting and design in Brooklyn, New York. Additionally, he teaches environmental technology at Parsons The New School.
John Williams
As Director of Energy Analysis, Mr. Williams leads NYSERDA's efforts with respect to the New York State Energy Plan. Additionally, he oversees the state's fuels data collection and reporting activities, energy emergency planning, energy price forecasting and systems modeling, energy efficiency and renewable energy program evaluation and analysis. Previously, Mr. Williams served as Energy Counsel for the New York State Assembly, as a staff attorney for The Energy Project of the Pace University School of Law and worked as a financial analyst for the Public Service Company of New Mexico. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University, a Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law and a Master of Laws in Environmental Law from Pace University School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in the states of New York and New Jersey.
Robert Williams
Robert Williams joined the Zubatkin team in 2002 and has over 20 years of experience designing and managing cultural and institutional projects throughout the United States. A dedicated collaborator, he has successfully completed a wide range of technically complex projects for performing arts, museum, educational, broadcast, multi-use, corporate and high end residential environments. His areas of expertise include energy planning and management, MEP master planning, lighting and audiovisual systems, sophisticated electronic controls, telecommunications and network systems. Mr. Williams, a LEED AP BD+C, is also actively involved in USGBC NY and currently serves on several committees.
Alex Wilson
Alex Wilson is founder of BuildingGreen, Inc., the Brattleboro-based publisher (since 1992) of Environmental Building News, the nation's oldest and most respected publication on green building. He has written numerous articles on resilience and passive survivability, including a 2008 article in the International Code Council's magazine Building Safety Journal, and this was his major focus during an eight-month sabbatical in 2011.

Elizabeth Wylie
Elizabeth Wylie has spent 20 years in the museum field as a curator and director and now directs business development activities for Finegold Alexander, a Boston based planning and architecture firm with a national practice. Elizabeth has significant experience in collections care, fundraising, and program development. She has held curatorial and administrative posts at art museums in New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island and now volunteers as Board president of the Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club, a 19th century women's club that stewards the 18th century Loring-Greenough House. Elizabeth is also treasurer of the new Professional Interest Committee for the American Association of Museums: PIC Green. Together with Sarah Brophy, Elizabeth has written the first and only handbook for museums seeking to become more environmentally responsible: "The Green Museum: Primer on Environmental Practice" (Altamira Press 2006). The pair has also co-authored three articles for Museum, the journal of the American Association of Museums: "Saving Collections + the Planet" (January/February 2010); "The Greener Good: The Enviro-Active Museum" (January/February 2008); and "It's Easy Being Green: Museums and the Green Movement" (September/October 2006).
